Families have long shared recipes with one another, passing down cherished culinary traditions from generation to generation. The act of preparing a family recipe together can evoke memories of holidays, gatherings, and special occasions from the past.
Our cookbook will be built with recipes tailored to the foods commonly found at our local food pantries, and to the flavors our families prefer. This empowers families to maximize the use of the food they've been provided, stretching it as far as possible to feed their household. And helping them translate unfamiliar staples into familiar dishes.
Sponsoring our cookbook is a meaningful way to make a positive impact on your community. This cookbook serves an important purpose by highlighting the nutritious and versatile items commonly found at local food banks and pantries. These organizations often receive an abundance of non-perishable staples, ingredients that can be transformed into wholesome, flavorful meals when paired with the right recipes.
Your donation helps ensure this cookbook can be provided to all the families supported by CVCA, putting easy-to-follow recipes in the hands of those who need them most. With your support, the cookbook can become an invaluable resource that uplifts and provides families with both delicious meals and renewed hope.
Feast Sponsors: $1000
Will receive 6 copies of the Cookbook and will be recognized with a full
page space which can feature their business logo and any approved message.
Meal Sponsors: $500
Will receive 4 copies of the Cookbook and will be recognized with a half
page space which can feature their business logo and any approved message.
Snack Sponsors: $250
Will receive 2 copies of the Cookbook and will be recognized with a quarter
page space which can feature their business logo and any approved message.
Book Sponsors: $100
Will receive 1 copy of the Cookbook and will be recognized with a sixth page
space which can feature their business name and any approved message.

A $10 donation will support the printing of a book to be given to a family in
any of CVCA’s programs. All donors will be listed on the Cookbook Donors page.​

$10 delivers parents with daily one-on-one instruction through our Parents As Teachers program.
$70 provides a day of housing to youth who are unable to remain in their home community.
$250 offers Out of School Time activities annually for children living in Philadelphia County.
